When a struggling car mechanic named Cade (Mark Wahlberg) discovers he is in possession of a deactivated Optimus Prime, he and his daughter, Tessa (Nicola Peltz), soon find themselves under government investigation. To make matters worse, they receive more unwanted attention from the Decepticons, who are still waging war against the Autobots. As the ensuing battle threatens to usher in the end of the world as we know it, the arrival of the almighty Dinobots only intensifies the problem and seems set to tip things over the edge.
